Responsibilities
- Maintain precise temperature and humidity levels in refrigerated/freezer zones
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and refrigeration equipment safely
- Load/unload temperature-sensitive products with strict adherence to protocols
- Conduct regular inventory audits using warehouse management systems
- Enforce strict food safety and HACCP compliance standards
- Perform preventative maintenance on refrigeration units
- Document temperature logs and operational reports accurately
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Basic math and inventory management skills
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance mindset
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and stand for 8+ hours
