Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks in temperature-controlled environments (-10°F to 40°F)
- Load/unload refrigerated trucks and organize inventory in cold storage zones
- Maintain strict food safety standards and HACCP compliance protocols
- Perform quality checks on perishable goods and report discrepancies
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory tracking
- Adhere to OSHA safety guidelines and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient workflow
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Basic math skills for inventory reconciliation
- Valid driver's license preferred (forklift certification provided)
- Strong attention to detail and safety-conscious mindset
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly with proper techniques
- Willingness to work nights/weekends in a 24/7 operation
- No prior cold storage experience required – training provided!
