Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperature and humidity levels in refrigerated/freezer units
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and cold storage equipment safely
- Inspect and record product conditions using digital inventory systems
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety protocols for cold environments
- Rotate stock following FIFO principles to ensure product freshness
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient loading/unloading
- Report equipment malfunctions and safety hazards immediately
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Valid OSHA 10-Hour General Industry certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Forklift certification (or ability to obtain through company training)
- Strong attention to detail and inventory accuracy
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Reliable transportation and flexible availability including nights/weekends
