Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperatures in refrigerated/freezer zones (-10°F to 40°F)
- Inspect, sort, and package perishable goods according to safety standards
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and material handling equipment with precision
- Adhere to HACCP protocols and FDA regulations for food safety
- Conduct routine inventory counts using warehouse management systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient loading/unloading
- Report equipment malfunctions and safety hazards immediately
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and stand for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- Valid driver's license and clean MVR (if operating company vehicles)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
