Responsibilities
- Maintain strict temperature control protocols in refrigerated/freezer environments (-10°F to 40°F)
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely in low-temperature conditions
- Inspect, load, and unload temperature-sensitive products following FIFO principles
- Conduct quality checks and report inventory discrepancies to supervisors
- Adhere to all safety standards including proper PPE usage and lockout/tagout procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient warehouse operations
- Complete accurate documentation of receiving, storage, and shipping activities
Qualifications
- Previous cold storage or warehouse experience preferred
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Ability to work in extreme cold environments for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and inventory management skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand for 8+ hours
- Basic math and computer literacy for inventory systems
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance record
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
