Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperatures (-10°F to 40°F) in refrigerated/freezer zones
- Load/unload temperature-controlled trucks using pallet jacks and forklifts
- Organize and rotate inventory using FIFO methods
- Conduct daily safety checks and report equipment malfunctions
- Sanitize work areas and equipment following HACCP standards
- Assist with inventory audits and documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient operations
Qualifications
- Ability to work in cold environments (4°C to -18°C) for extended periods
- Basic math skills for inventory tracking
- Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for 8+ hours
- Valid driver's license preferred but not required
- Reliable transportation to Seaport District
- Team player with strong communication skills
- Willingness to pass pre-employment background check
- No prior cold storage experience needed – we train!
