Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature/humidity levels in refrigerated/freezer units
- Load/unload products using pallet jacks and forklifts (training provided)
- Inspect incoming shipments for quality and temperature compliance
- Organize and rotate inventory according to FIFO principles
- Complete inventory logs and safety documentation
- Adhere strictly to OSHA and HACCP safety protocols
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently
Qualifications
- Ability to work in temperatures ranging from 0°F to 40°F
- Valid state ID or driver's license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Reliable transportation to our Northwest Side facility
- Basic math skills for inventory tracking
- Willingness to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends
- No prior cold storage experience required
- Strong attention to detail and safety-conscious mindset
