Responsibilities
- Load/unload refrigerated trucks and organize inventory in climate-controlled zones
- Operate pallet jacks and forklifts with proper safety protocols
- Monitor temperature levels and report equipment malfunctions
- Perform quality checks on perishable goods and maintain hygiene standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet daily shipping targets
- Document inventory movements and maintain accurate records
- Adhere to OSHA and food safety regulations at all times
Qualifications
- Ability to work in cold environments (32-40°F) for extended periods
- Physical stamina to lift 50+ pounds and stand/walk for 8+ hours
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and documentation
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance
- Team-oriented attitude with strong communication skills
- Willingness to obtain forklift certification (provided)
- Previous warehouse or cold storage experience preferred but not required
