Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature/humidity levels in refrigerated environments
- Safely load/unload perishable goods using pallet jacks and forklifts
- Conduct inventory counts and update warehouse management systems
- Adhere to strict HACCP and OSHA safety protocols
- Operate cold storage equipment (conveyor belts, sorting systems)
- Perform quality control inspections on incoming/outgoing products
- Maintain clean and organized workspaces in refrigerated zones
Qualifications
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures (0°F to 40°F)
- Valid Florida driver's license preferred
- Basic math and inventory tracking skills
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Flexible availability including nights/weekends
- Previous warehouse experience a plus
