Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain temperature-controlled environments (-10°F to 40°F) using digital monitoring systems
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load/unload refrigerated trucks and organize inventory
- Inspect products for quality compliance and report discrepancies to supervisors
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety protocols for cold storage operations
- Perform routine sanitation of equipment and storage areas to prevent contamination
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize warehouse efficiency
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience in refrigerated warehouse or cold storage environments
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety standards
- Valid California driver's license preferred
