Responsibilities
- Operate refrigerated equipment and monitor temperature-controlled environments
- Load/unload products using forklifts and pallet jacks in sub-zero conditions
- Maintain strict inventory management and documentation systems
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety protocols for cold storage operations
- Perform routine sanitation and facility maintenance tasks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient workflow
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20°F (-29°C)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
