Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature/humidity levels in refrigerated environments (-10°F to 40°F)
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load/unload refrigerated trucks and organize inventory
- Conduct daily safety inspections of equipment and report maintenance needs
- Implement FIFO inventory rotation and track product movement via WMS systems
- Adhere to HACCP, OSHA, and FDA compliance protocols
- Perform sanitation procedures and maintain hygiene standards in cold zones
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless logistics operations
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year cold storage or refrigerated warehouse experience
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to work in sub-zero environments for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and stand/walk 8+ hours daily
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance awareness
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Flexible availability including weekends/holidays
