Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperature and humidity levels in refrigerated/freezer units
- Safely load, unload, and organize inventory using pallet jacks and forklifts
- Inspect and sanitize storage facilities to comply with HACCP standards
- Operate warehouse equipment including pallet jacks, scanners, and conveyor systems
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with cycle counting and stock rotation
- Adhere to strict safety protocols for cold environments and hazardous materials
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient workflow
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse, cold storage, or refrigerated facility experience preferred
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for 8+ hours
- Basic knowledge of inventory management systems
- Commitment to workplace safety and sanitation standards
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
