Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature conditions in refrigerated/freezer units
- Inspect and document inventory using warehouse management systems
- Safely load/unload perishable goods using forklifts and pallet jacks
- Adhere to strict food safety and sanitation protocols
- Operate cold storage equipment (conveyor belts, scanners, etc.)
- Contribute to facility cleanliness and safety compliance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient operations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures (40°F below zero)
- Basic math skills for inventory management
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Willingness to work flexible shifts (evenings/weekends as needed)
- No prior cold storage experience required – training provided
