Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature/humidity levels in refrigerated/freezer units
- Load/unload products using pallet jacks and forklifts (certification provided)
- Conduct inventory counts and update warehouse management systems
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety protocols in all tasks
- Operate automated sorting equipment for product distribution
- Perform sanitation duties to maintain USDA compliance standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient workflow
Qualifications
- Ability to work in temperatures ranging from 0°F to 40°F (-18°C to 4°C)
- Valid state ID or driver's license (required for equipment operation)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout shifts
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- Strong attention to detail and safety-conscious mindset
- Flexibility to work nights/weekends during peak seasons
- Willingness to obtain forklift certification (company-sponsored)
