Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperature (-10°F to 40°F) in refrigerated/freezer units
- Load/unload pallets of perishable goods using forklifts and pallet jacks
- Conduct daily inventory counts and stock rotation (FIFO method)
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and maintain cleanliness standards
- Monitor humidity/temperature logs and report equipment malfunctions
- Adhere to OSHA and HACCP safety protocols
- Collaborate with team for efficient dock scheduling
Qualifications
- Ability to work in cold environments (0-40°F) for extended periods
- Basic math skills for inventory documentation
- Valid driver's license preferred (not required)
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly with proper techniques
