Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature/humidity levels in refrigerated storage areas
- Load/unload temperature-sensitive products using pallet jacks and forklifts
- Conduct quality inspections and inventory audits of perishable goods
- Adhere to HACCP and FDA safety protocols for food handling
- Operate refrigeration equipment and troubleshoot minor issues
- Maintain accurate warehouse documentation and digital records
- Collaborate with logistics team for efficient product rotation
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Ability to work in 32°F-40°F environments for extended periods
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Basic math skills for inventory management
- Valid forklift certification or ability to obtain
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly
