Responsibilities
- Operate pallet jacks and forklifts to move products in refrigerated environments (-10°F to 40°F)
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Inspect and sanitize equipment to comply with FDA food safety standards
- Load/unload trucks while adhering to temperature control protocols
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow efficiency
- Report equipment malfunctions and safety hazards immediately
Qualifications
- Previous cold storage or warehouse experience preferred
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Valid driver's license and clean MVR for equipment operation
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for 8-hour shifts
