Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperature (-10°F to 40°F) in refrigerated/freezer zones using monitoring equipment
- Safely load/unload palletized goods using pallet jacks and forklifts (certification provided)
- Conduct daily inventory counts and cycle counts using RF scanners
- Adhere to HACCP and FDA protocols for food-grade storage
- Operate pallet racking systems and organize stock for FIFO compliance
- Perform sanitation duties including cleaning equipment and facility surfaces
- Complete incident reports and safety documentation promptly
Qualifications
- 1+ year warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Ability to work in sub-zero environments for extended periods
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain (training provided)
- Basic math skills for inventory management
- OSHA 10-hour certification or ability to complete within 30 days
- Strong attention to detail and safety-conscious mindset
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and stand/walk 8+ hours
- Valid Arizona driver's license (for equipment operation)
