Responsibilities
- Unload, sort, and store refrigerated/frozen products in -10°F to 40°F environments
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and cold storage monitoring systems
- Conduct inventory counts using RF scanners and warehouse management software
- Enforce HACCP and food safety protocols in compliance with FDA standards
- Maintain precise temperature logs and report equipment malfunctions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient loading/unloading schedules
- Perform sanitation duties to ensure ISO-compliant facility conditions
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year cold storage or warehouse experience preferred
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Strong attention to detail and inventory management skills
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand/walk for 8-hour shifts
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- OSHA 10 certification or willingness to complete training
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance record
