Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperatures in refrigerated/freezer zones using monitoring equipment
- Safely load/unload perishable goods using pallet jacks and forklifts
- Conduct routine sanitation and hygiene protocols per FDA standards
- Inspect incoming/outgoing shipments for quality compliance
- Operate warehouse machinery (pallet jacks, order pickers) safely
- Document inventory movements using warehouse management systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet daily targets
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to work in temperatures below 32°F
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Reliable transportation to shift-based work hours
