Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperature and humidity levels in refrigerated/freezer units
- Inspect and organize inventory using FIFO methods
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and warehouse equipment safely
- Sanitize and maintain facility cleanliness per food safety standards
- Document inventory movements and temperature logs accurately
- Collaborate with team to meet daily shipping/receiving targets
- Adhere to all OSHA and HACCP compliance protocols
Qualifications
- Ability to work in cold environments (32°F - 0°F) for extended periods
- Basic math and inventory documentation skills
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Flexible availability including weekends/holidays
- No prior cold storage experience required
