Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperature and humidity levels in refrigerated storage areas
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and cold-storage equipment safely
- Inspect and document storage conditions using digital monitoring systems
- Rotate inventory to ensure FIFO (First-In, First-Out) compliance
- Perform routine sanitation and cleaning protocols for food safety
- Coordinate with logistics team for efficient loading/unloading operations
- Report equipment malfunctions and safety hazards immediately
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- 1+ year warehouse, cold storage, or refrigeration experience preferred
- OSHA 10-Hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Valid Texas driver's license (required for equipment operation)
- Ability to work in 32°F-40°F environments for extended periods
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking systems
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
