Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperatures in refrigerated warehouses (-10°F to 40°F)
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and cold storage equipment safely
- Inspect and document warehouse conditions daily using digital reporting tools
- Load/unload temperature-controlled vehicles following HACCP protocols
- Manage inventory rotation in FIFO systems to prevent spoilage
- Adhere to OSHA and FDA safety standards for cold environments
- Perform preventative maintenance on refrigeration units
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year cold storage or warehouse experience
- OSHA 10 certification or willingness to obtain
- Valid Florida driver's license (Class D or higher)
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly in sub-zero conditions
- Forklift certification (or willingness to train)
- Strong attention to detail for inventory tracking
- Ability to work 8-hour shifts in 32°F-40°F environments
- Pass background check and drug screening
