Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperatures in refrigerated/freezer units (-10°F to 40°F)
- Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks in temperature-controlled environments
- Inspect, sort, and inventory perishable goods following HACCP protocols
- Maintain strict sanitation standards for equipment and facility surfaces
- Document inventory movements using warehouse management systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely shipments
- Adhere to OSHA and FDA regulatory compliance standards
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly in cold environments
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- Strong attention to detail and safety-conscious mindset
- Ability to work in temperatures as low as -10°F
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Reliable transportation to NE Portland facility
