Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts in busy warehouse environments
- Load/unroll trucks with precision using electric pallet jacks
- Maintain inventory accuracy through RF scanning systems
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and conduct pre-shift inspections
- Operate in temperature-controlled (32-45°F) cold storage zones
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient workflow
- Complete daily equipment maintenance logs
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (current or within 6 months)
- Minimum 2 years of recent warehouse experience
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Strong attention to detail in fast-paced environments
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic RF scanner operation knowledge
- Reliable transportation to Southwest Detroit facilities
- Willingness to work overnight shifts (11 PM-7 AM)
