Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down/stand-up forklifts to move materials and load/unload trucks
- Perform daily equipment inspections and routine maintenance checks
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and company policies at all times
- Collaborate with team members to optimize warehouse workflow
- Assist with cross-training in other warehouse operations as needed
- Report equipment malfunctions and safety hazards immediately
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 48 hours)
- Minimum 1 year of recent forklift operation experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for 8+ hours
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
