In this role, you will be responsible for managing inventory within our state-of-the-art refrigerated facilities. You will work in a controlled climate environment, ensuring that products are stored correctly and moved safely. We offer overtime opportunities and clear pathways for advancement to Shift Supervisor or Warehouse Manager positions.
Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and transport palletized goods using forklifts and pallet jacks in a frozen environment.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure stock levels are organized and accessible.
- Monitor temperature logs and ensure all safety protocols are followed to protect perishable inventory.
- Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of cold storage areas to prevent frost build-up and ensure hygiene standards.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to ensure timely shipping and receiving of orders.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, cold storage, or logistics environment is preferred but not required.
- Ability to obtain a forklift certification within 30 days of hire.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds repeatedly and working in temperatures ranging from 10°F to 35°F.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety regulations (OSHA).
