Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently to load and unload shipments.
- Inspect machinery for any mechanical issues before and after use to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Organize, stack, and palletize merchandise in designated areas to maintain an orderly warehouse.
- Perform daily inventory counts and reconcile stock discrepancies accurately.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety protocols and company policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding stock levels and workflow.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid forklift certification (Class 1 or Class 4) is preferred, but we will train qualified candidates without certification.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs frequently throughout the shift.
- Basic computer literacy for scanning barcodes and logging data.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and attention to detail.
- Valid driver’s license (not always required for warehouse roles but preferred).
