Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to move, load, and unload goods safely and efficiently
- Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct cycle counts using warehouse management systems
- Inspect and perform basic maintenance on equipment, reporting any malfunctions immediately
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company policies at all times
- Collaborate with team members to optimize warehouse workflow and meet production targets
- Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment
- Participate in ongoing safety training and process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required
- Ability to obtain OSHA forklift certification within 30 days of hire
- Basic math skills for inventory and measurement tasks
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Valid driver's license preferred but not required
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Willingness to work flexible hours including occasional overtime
