Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts to move, load, and unload materials in warehouse and yard settings
- Maintain accurate inventory counts and documentation of all material movements
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company operational procedures
- Inspect and report equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to supervisors
- Collaborate with warehouse team to optimize loading/unloading efficiency
- Assist in general warehouse duties including stacking, sorting, and organizing products
- Participate in mandatory safety training and equipment certification programs
Qualifications
- No prior forklift experience required - we provide paid training!
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand for extended periods
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends when overtime is available
- Basic math skills for inventory management and documentation
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
