Your Role
As a Forklift Operator, you will be the backbone of our warehouse operations, ensuring that inventory is moved safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Operate electric and internal combustion forklifts to load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse facility.
- Perform daily pre-shift safety inspections on forklifts to ensure proper working order and identify any maintenance needs.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning barcodes and documenting stock movements in the warehouse management system.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols to ensure a hazard-free work environment.
- Collaborate with the inventory team to organize stockpiles and optimize warehouse layout for efficiency.
- Assist in packing, labeling, and preparing shipments for outbound delivery trucks.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Basic math skills for counting inventory and handling cash transactions (if applicable).
- Physically capable of standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Valid Driver's License (not required for operation, but helpful for site access).
- Willingness to obtain a forklift certification through our paid training program.
