Responsibilities
- Safe Operation: Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently in a busy warehouse environment.
- Loading & Unloading: Load and unload shipments accurately, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing cargo.
- Inventory Management: Assist with stock counts, picking, packing, and verifying inventory against purchase orders.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols to maintain a hazard-free workplace.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine pre-shift inspections on forklifts to ensure they are in good working order.
- Organization: Keep the warehouse aisles clear and organized to maximize efficiency.
Qualifications
- Eligibility: Must be eligible to work in the United States.
- Experience: No prior forklift experience required; we provide on-the-job training for certified candidates.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and safety protocols.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
