Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse and to delivery vehicles.
- Perform daily pre-shift equipment inspections and report any mechanical issues or safety hazards immediately.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning pallets and ensuring stock is organized, labeled, and easily accessible.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to ensure a safe working environment for everyone.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to meet daily shipping and receiving targets and deadlines.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of debris to prevent accidents.
- Assist with general warehouse duties such as staging inventory or organizing shipping lanes as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- No prior experience required; we provide certification training for the right candidates.
- Basic math and reading skills are required for inventory management and scanning.
- Physically capable of standing for long periods, climbing stairs, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- A strong commitment to safety and attention to detail is essential.
- Must be reliable and able to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends if required.
