Responsibilities
- Load and Unload Freight: Safely load and unload materials from trailers, trucks, and railcars using forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Inventory Management: Verify and count stock items, ensuring accurate inventory levels through scanning and paperwork.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts and warehouse equipment to ensure safe operation.
- Palletizing: Properly arrange and secure products on pallets to prevent damage during transit.
- Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
- Documentation: Accurately complete necessary paperwork, including pick tickets and delivery logs.
Qualifications
- License Requirement: Valid Forklift Operator Certificate is required. (We can assist training for the right candidate).
- Experience: 0-1 year of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or material handling preferred but not mandatory for exceptional candidates.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and maneuver in tight spaces.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on safety protocols and accuracy in inventory counts.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.
