Your Role
As a Forklift Operator, you will play a critical role in our daily operations, ensuring that inventory is moved accurately and safely. We pride ourselves on our safety culture and looking for team players who are eager to learn.
Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely drive and operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery to move, locate, and place materials.
- Load and Unload Freight: Efficiently load and unload trucks and containers, ensuring cargo is secured and protected.
- Inventory Management: Assist in the receiving, counting, and stocking of products to maintain accurate inventory levels.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies, including conducting daily pre-shift equipment inspections.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Keep the work area organized, clean, and free of hazards to ensure a safe working environment.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and other warehouse staff to ensure smooth workflow.
- Documentation: Accurately complete necessary paperwork and digital logs for inventory movements.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Experience: No prior forklift experience necessary. Must be willing to learn and complete training.
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly, stand for extended periods, and navigate uneven surfaces.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time shifts, including nights and weekends as needed.
- Background Check: Successful completion of a background check and drug screen.
- License: Valid driver's license required.
