Responsibilities
- Operate powered industrial trucks (Forklifts) to load, unload, and move materials within the facility and to/from dock doors.
- Inspect forklifts for mechanical issues and report any maintenance needs to the supervisor immediately.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.
- Verify inventory counts and ensure accuracy of stock placement.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to meet daily shipping and receiving targets.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to obtain a valid forklift certification (we offer training for qualified candidates).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Basic computer literacy and math skills for inventory tracking.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
