Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to transport materials within warehouse and yard areas
- Load/unload trucks and containers using proper pallet jack and forklift techniques
- Inspect and maintain equipment daily to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company warehouse procedures
- Assist with inventory management and accurate documentation of material movements
- Collaborate with team members to maintain efficient workflow and meet production targets
- Report equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately to supervisors
Qualifications
- No prior forklift experience required – we provide full paid training!
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred but not mandatory
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Basic math skills for inventory tracking and measurement verification
- Valid government-issued photo ID (required for background check)
- Willingness to work flexible shifts including early mornings or weekends as needed
- Positive attitude and eagerness to learn new technical skills
