Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment to move products in warehouse environments
- Inspect and maintain equipment daily to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance
- Load/unload shipments with precision using proper stacking and securing techniques
- Collaborate with team members to maintain organized inventory and efficient workflow
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company operational standards
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counting procedures
- Complete daily shift reports and equipment maintenance logs
Qualifications
- No prior forklift experience required – we provide full paid training!
- Valid state-issued ID or driver's license (must be 18+ years old)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Basic math skills for inventory tracking and shipment verification
- Willingness to obtain forklift certification (company-provided)
- Reliable transportation to our Chicago facility
