Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently in compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Load, unload, and move materials to and from designated storage areas, staging areas, and delivery vehicles.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections and routine maintenance checks on all equipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment (5S standards) at all times.
- Verify incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy of inventory counts.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline warehouse operations and meet daily targets.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and report any potential hazards immediately.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred but not strictly required for entry-level candidates.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to obtain a valid forklift operator certification (comprehensive training provided).
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for extended periods, and working in varying temperature conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to workplace safety.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
