Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to load, unload, and move products within the warehouse.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by counting stock and completing necessary paperwork and digital logs.
- Ensure a clean and organized work area, adhering to all 5S standards and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with the team to meet daily shipping and receiving targets and deadlines.
- Perform routine equipment checks and report any maintenance issues immediately to management.
- Follow all OSHA safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment for all employees.
Qualifications
- No prior experience required: We welcome entry-level applicants and provide on-the-job training for certified forklift operators.
- Valid Forklift Certification (or willingness to obtain one upon hiring).
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Basic computer literacy for logging inventory and reading labels.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions if operating outdoor yard equipment.
