What You'll Do
As a Forklift Operator, you will play a crucial role in our daily operations, ensuring inventory is handled efficiently and safely.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse.
- Perform regular safety inspections on equipment to ensure compliance with OSHA standards.
- Organize and stock inventory in designated storage areas accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare pallets for shipping and ensure proper labeling and documentation.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to prevent accidents and hazards.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed, including packaging and shipping.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Ability to obtain a forklift certification (we can assist with training).
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and tracking.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Reliable attendance and a positive work attitude.
