Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to move, load, and unload goods safely and efficiently
- Inspect and perform basic maintenance on machinery daily to ensure operational readiness
- Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation for all material movements
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and OSHA regulations at all times
- Collaborate with warehouse team to optimize workflow and meet daily production targets
- Assist in maintaining clean, organized, and hazard-free work zones
- Participate in ongoing safety training and equipment certification programs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required
- Valid driver's license and ability to obtain forklift certification (training provided)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and documentation
- Reliable transportation to our Chicago facility
- Previous warehouse experience preferred but not required
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends when needed
