Responsibilities
- Accurately receive, scan, and document incoming shipments using barcode scanners
- Organize and store inventory in designated warehouse zones following FIFO protocols
- Pick and pack orders with precision for timely shipping fulfillment
- Maintain clean and organized workspaces including aisle clearance and equipment sanitation
- Operate warehouse equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts with certification) safely and efficiently
- Conduct regular cycle counts and assist in inventory reconciliation processes
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily productivity targets
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand/walk for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
- Valid driver's license preferred (for equipment operation training)
- Willingness to obtain OSHA forklift certification (company-provided)
- Reliable transportation to our Port of Baltimore facility
