Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end shipping processes for urgent freight across Charlotte and surrounding areas
- Manage documentation compliance (BOLs, customs forms, manifests) ensuring 99.9% accuracy
- Optimize routing and carrier selection for time-sensitive deliveries
- Act as primary liaison between clients, carriers, and warehouse teams
- Monitor shipment tracking systems and proactively resolve transit delays
- Generate performance reports and analyze shipping cost efficiencies
- Maintain real-time visibility in TMS/WMS platforms
Qualifications
- 3+ years in freight coordination or supply chain management
- Expertise in LTL, FTL, and expedited shipping operations
- Proficiency with TMS/WMS systems (Oracle, Blue Yonder, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of DOT/FMC regulations
- Exceptional problem-solving and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities in high-volume environments
- Valid NC driver's license preferred
