Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts in high-volume warehouse environments
- Load/unload trucks using pallet jacks and electric pallet movers
- Maintain accurate inventory records via warehouse management systems
- Perform pre-shift equipment inspections and safety checks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet daily shipping targets
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and maintain clean work zones
- Train junior staff on proper equipment operation procedures
Qualifications
- OSHA-certified forklift operator license required
- Minimum 2 years warehouse/forklift experience
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for 8+ hours
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness
- Valid Tennessee driver's license preferred
- Willingness to obtain additional certifications (Hazardous Materials, etc.)
