Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move materials within warehouse and yard
- Perform daily equipment inspections and preventive maintenance
- Manage inventory counts and documentation accuracy
- Maintain clean, organized work areas following 5S principles
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies
- Collaborate with receiving/shipping teams for seamless operations
- Train new hires on proper equipment handling procedures
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA-certified forklift operator license
- 2+ years of warehouse/forklift experience
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
- Basic math and inventory tracking abilities
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Pre-employment drug screening required
