Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts in a high-volume warehouse setting
- Accurately load/untract trailers and containers using proper loading techniques
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Maintain accurate inventory counts through systematic warehouse scanning
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and company operational standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow efficiency
- Train new team members on material handling best practices
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of professional forklift operation experience
- Valid OSHA Forklift Certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness in busy environments
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
- Clean driving record and reliable transportation
- Flexibility to work overtime and weekends during peak seasons
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
