Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts in warehouse environments
- Load/unload trucks and containers with precision using forklift attachments
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient material handling
- Train new hires on forklift operation and safety standards
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of professional forklift operation experience
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety regulations
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Florida driver's license preferred
- Experience with RF scanners and WMS systems a plus
