Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move, load, and unload materials with precision
- Inspect and maintain equipment daily to ensure optimal safety and performance
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and warehouse procedures
- Coordinate with receiving/shipping teams to maintain efficient workflow
- Manage inventory documentation and warehouse organization systems
- Train new operators on equipment safety protocols
- Report equipment malfunctions and safety hazards immediately
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of certified forklift operation experience
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand/walk for 8+ hours
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness skills
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Valid California Driver's License preferred
